Yoga Haven was opened in March of 2018. It has been our mission to provide yoga in a safe environment. We offer yoga to all level practitioners. Our goal is to make yoga accessible to all ages. At Yoga Haven, you will receive instructions both verbally and by demonstration.
Gentle Yoga class for those interested in learning yoga in a safe environment. Stretching, balancing and breathing into simple movements to increase our range of motion, strength and well being is all included in this one hour class. Gentle Yoga is a great way to begin your week! Join Tonia on the mat and discover the true meaning of "Yoga is for everyBODY".
Slow Flow Yoga
Moving through poses slowly allows you to drop into the body and move intentionally while releasing deeply held stress and tension. Learn how to link your breath with movement to help you establish present moment awareness and improve the mind/body connection. Slow Flow is a great class for anyone new to yoga and for those looking to deepen their practice.
Stretch Class with Yoga Basics
Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong and healthy and should be done daily. Flexibility helps to maintain our range of motion in our joints. For example, sitting in a chair all day results in tight hamstrings in the back of the thighs. Regular stretching keeps muscles long, lean and flexible! Healthy muscles also help with balance to avoid falls. No experience needed for this class. Yoga is stretching. We will learn some basic yoga poses to stretch and strengthen our muscles. Dress comfortably. Bring a mat and a water bottle.
